Below is my piece for the next East End Arts Club exhibition which is happening in December. Called ‘Tate the Biscuit’, it is based on proverbs and sayings and surely going to rival the success of  last years ‘One Ton Show‘. It has a great line up of people taking part including street artists, fine artists and illustrators who have all interpreted proverbs and phrases in their own unique way.

The great thing about the Shoreditch Town Hall location is the East London Design Show is on at the same time upstairs so you can get all your Christmas shopping done at the two shows! The show is on from Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th December, details on the website – Hope to see you there!

As I mentioned I have artwork in a couple of exhibitions in December, the first one being the ‘Lets Play‘ exhibition hosted by the fine art publishers The Art Group:

Let's Play

This is the first exhibition by The Art Group and showcases a cross section of the talented artists, designers, illustrators and photographers published by the company. I already have a couple of pieces published with them and I am very excited about a range of cards I have coming out in December. I saw the mock ups this morning and they look fab, the design team have done a great job. In the meantime, here is my piece for the exhibition, it’s one of my usual abstracts but this time features playing card imagery and patterns:

Stick or Twist

The exhibition runs from 2nd – 5th December at the Maverick Showroom on Redchurch Street. It will be well worth visiting if you are in the area as it is a great selection of artists:

As promised here is my final piece for the upcoming ‘Hidden Gems’ show, the latest by the East End Arts Club:

angie gems

The exhibition is in conjunction with London Jewellery week so expect lots of sparkle! The original and an edition run of 10 will be available at the show and online. The show will then move to the Swanfield Yard gallery until the beginning of July.

I feel I must apologise for being so quiet recently. I’ve had so much on and just haven’t had the time to keep on top of everything. BUT I have every intention of tracking down those trends once again from now on so keep checking back as normal service will be resumed!

One of the things I’ve been busy with is the next East End Arts Club exhibition ‘Hidden Gems’ which is to be staged at an amazing space in Covent Garden in conjunction with London Jewellery Week. The show will consist of high quality, affordable, framed originals and limited editions from range of artists, illustrators and print makers. The nature of the work is strong and graphic with an emphasis on ‘craft’ and prices range from £100 to £150.

I’ve just finished my piece this evening (phew) so if you come back here over the next couple of days you might get to take a peek…

The show will be on from Fri 12th June – Sun 14th and then the works will be on show at the usual Swanfield site.  Check it out!
